Mistral Pygmy Goats

Welcome to Mistral Pygmy Goats, our small farm where pygmy goats are our passion. We are striving towards breeding pygmy goats in line with the breed standard, and love everything to do with our goats. We are located in Gulgong, a small town in Central West NSW, Australia.

Meet Our Goats

Looking for a new friend for the kids? No pun intended.

A pygmy goat and three kids graze on lush green grass in a rural field, with sheep visible in the background under a cloudy sky.
Meet The Does

Our does are where we begin. With choosing the right does to breed, we are aiming to continuously enhance our herd. These are our sweethearts!

Trundle Downs Mr Darcy
Meet The Bucks

The bucks provide much more than just 50% of a kid's DNA. They are the foundation of our herd, and we take such pride in our bucks, as they are helping us move towards our goals at Mistral Pygmy Goats.

Mistral Orion
Meet The Wethers

Wethers are amazing! They are the gentlest, sweetest of the herd, and even better, don't get the stinky buck hormones! If you're looking for a pet, this is where you need to look.

Mistral Milton
Meet The Kids

This is where you'll see the super adorable babies! We take care to breed our does responsibly and ethically, so we don't always have kids, but this is where they'll be when we do!

Find Your Perfect Pygmy Pal

❤️🐐 Weaning day today! Mum’s aren’t too bothered yet, but the babies are!

A very nice time to sit back and look at how nicely these are all growing. Particularly pleased with how Mistral Shelby is going- pictured with her mum (photo 2)❤️🐐

❤️🐐 Another cold snap here, just when we think spring is here! Though this photo was from a couple of weeks ago, but does anyone else’s goats insist on sleeping out in the frost, even though there’s plenty of undercover space for them?! (Yes, that’s supposed to be a black goat!) ❤️🐐 ... See MoreSee Less
